One Worship- 'Let it rise up' review
My intellectually disabled son was
recently given the CD "Let It Rise Up' at a time when he was very sick. I played
the CD over and over because the words, all of which are original and written by
local Sydney musicians, were such a blessing to my spirit. They injected my
stressed spirit with hope and faith during a trying time. What greater resource
is their than God's Holy Spirit when times are testing? 'Let It Rise Up' helped
me to tap into that resource and remember the greatness, awesomeness and
trustworthiness of our wonderful God, regardless of our present circumstances.
At a time when I was surprised to recognise that fear (over what might happen to
Matthew) was assaulting me, God used 'Let It Rise Up' to put fear back where it
belonged- nowhere near a child of God. He helped me to 'rise up' beyond my
present circumstances and place renewed trust in my God. My endorsement of this
wonderful CD, with lyrics I am sure are inspired by the Holy Spirit, cannot be
overstated. I have purchased multiple copies to give as gifts to
friends!
