Mon June 28- Wed June 30 Inspire Church Planting Conference...
Four of our team had an Inspire-d time hearing about how God is moving to reconnect people with himself across our nation and our world. There was fantastic input from speakers... including Bayside’s own Louise and Steve Bartlett! It was also fantastic to have time to seek God, plan and dream for the future of Breathe and our local community. Coming Up...
Fri July 30 Serving the Homeless...
Once every couple of months a bunch of Breathers, Wentworth Point locals and various friends and workmates gather together to prepare meals and then travel to Penrith and Parramatta to offer them to homeless people. Our team contributes to the daily efforts of St Vincent de Paul’s Feeding the Homeless program across Sydney. We have learned alot from our involvement with Vinnies and our new friends. Our new theme “The Journey to Freedom” has been a challenging one as we have discussed questions such as, What is real freedom? How do we know when we have it? What stops us from encountering freedom in our lives? Where do we find the power to move out of the difficult places in life and into true and full life? Often the church has a reputation of being constraining and constricting rather than a community of freedom. We want to grow together in what it means to be a community that doesn’t play small, a community that truly lives, so come along and take the journey of transformation with us throughout July.
