BIG BAYSIDE BRUNCH

Sunday 20 July at 10am

Bayside’s morning congregation will be BUILDING COMMUNITY, CELEBRATING LIFE as we gather together in each others’ homes.

There will time for good food and friendship, as well as a chance to think some more about what God has been doing amongst us in recent weeks, and to hear some more wisdom from Ephesians.

Why are we doing it? Initially Bayside’s leaders decided to try the idea because C.W.P.S.’s hall was potentially unavailable on the July 20. But the idea grew on us as an opportunity for us all to make some new connections in our community, and to strengthen existing networks. We also thought it was a great opportunity to share some more of what God has been up to recently in a more intimate setting.

So how will it work? Over the next fortnight you will receive a personal invitation from one of our Brunch Hosts. They will each be inviting between 15-20 of us to their home. When the numbers have been confirmed, they will let you know what food you can bring and how much of it. On the morning it is simply a matter of arriving at 10am with your dish to share and with a desire to get to know some new friends.

What will be happening at the C.W.P.S. hall? A couple of people will wait at the hall until 10:30am in case any visitors arrive, and will invite those visitors back to the home they are going to for brunch.

So, get ready to receive your invitation and be part of this special day in the life of Bayside’s morning congregation!
