Bayside's Small Groups provide opportunities to connect deeply and grow together into fully devoted followers of Christ. Homegroups are a type of Small Group in which group members deepen friendships, worship, learn from God's word, serve each other and seek to bless others, together. There are a variety of womens, mens and mixed homegroups meeting on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis. These groups are meeting in Liberty Grove, Newington, Lidcombe and Wentworthville.
There are also variations on the Small Group idea such as accountability groups, prayer triplets and family partnerships in which a small number of individuals or families covenant to journey closely together for concentrated support and spiritual growth through mutual mentoring and accountability.
Additionally, Lifegroups are focused on cultivating relationships and sharing life based around a particular activity or interest, with an emphasis on utilising this opportunity to invite friends, neighbours and others to share good times and conversations with other followers of Jesus.
All types of Small Groups are integral to deepening the interconnectedness of the Bayside Community and helping every person find their spiritual family within the wider community.
