THE MOST IMPORTANT THING FOR YOU TO KNOW IS that no matter who you are, your life story, your strengths or weaknesses...God really likes you. And He is totally 100% for you, now and always.

You don't have to work at being religious to earn this - it's his free gift. This is called grace, and it's what we're on about here at Bayside.

We believe that this love of God, this grace, shown to us through Jesus, can revolutionise your life. We warmly invite you to connect with us and discover that God's grace and transforming power is for you!

Learning about Jesus is easy when you read the accounts of his life recorded in the New Testament.

The New Testament book written by his friend Mark is a great place to start. People who knew Jesus best then, and those who get to know him now, understand him as

  • the Son of God
  • fully God and fully human
  • God's way of expressing all he wanted to say or show about himself- the Word of God to us humans!

In fact one of his closest friends, John, said about him, "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."

Jesus is With and For you
Jesus brought God's favour and compassion to people just like you. He healed, forgave, challenged the status quo, and brought freedom and justice, because that is God's heart for all people.

Jesus shared the truth about God with everyone he met. He still does all of this and more in our lives today.

We believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again for us all. Jesus has made it possible for us to know who God truly is. He set all the wrongs right, and made it possible for us all to become close friends with God, now and forever.

It is friendship with God that fuels us for life, and empowers us to make a real positive difference in this world. We think knowing Jesus is the most important, enriching relationship a person can have in life.

We would love to help you make that connection. Use the form below to let us know or come by on Sunday morning.
